About Us
Mission
The mission of Goins Dancing is to provide quality dance classes that are inclusive of ALL children. We intend to build up each dancer’s self-esteem while teaching them new skills and providing a place where all dancers feel like stars.
All of our classes are inclusive and we also offer an adaptive dance class designed specifically for dancers with disabilities.
Our Why:
Ever since she was a little girl, Kathryn Geddings dreamed of owning and operating a dance studio that was focused on building positive self-esteem in every student. Growing up as a dancer herself, she saw unkind and even bullying behaviors. She aspired to someday provide a dance environment that not only taught dance but also empathy.
Since Goins Dancing opened its doors in 2009, it has served as a haven for dancers of diverse abilities and personalities. We are proud to be a small, close-knit dance family. We teach our dancers to be supportive of one another.
