- Due during the 1st month of enrollment and on August 1st each season that a dancer re-enrolls
- No registration fee for our summer session.

Costumes
All dance classes perform in our Spring Recital!
(Participation is optional — families may opt out upon request.)
For recital participants:
- Each dancer will need one recital costume per class.
- Costume payments are due in mid-Fall.
- Company dancers will need one uniform in addition to their recital costume(s).
- Competition dancers will need the Company uniform.
- They will also need a different dance costume for each of their competition dances.

Dancers can wear anything in classes that allows them to move freely.

Leotards
Many younger girls wear leotards, however, this is not a requirement.

When does your season start and end?
Our dance season begins on August 1st each year and runs through May of the following year. Our Summer Session runs through June and July.

How often does each class meet?
Each class meets weekly unless the studio is closed due to weather or a holiday. We follow Lexington 2’s School District holiday/break schedule. Check out our calendar for planned closures.
How will I know if you are closed?
If we close unexpectedly (like for weather), we:
- Send a mass text message
- Post on our Facebook page
- Post in our Facebook parent group
Do you accept children with disabilities or chronic health conditions?
YES! We enroll ALL children. All of our classes are inclusive. We also have an “All About My Dancer” form to help us meet everyone’s needs the best. We offer Zoom attendance for dancers if they have chronic medical conditions or other needs that prevent them from attending in person.
Is there a recital?
All of our classes perform in the end-of-year recital, even tumble classes! More details are on the Recital webpage.
Can my dancer take the class but not participate in the recital?
Yes! If you would like to opt-out of the recital, please either submit a “Recital Opt-Out” form or email Ms. Sarah at sarahshaw.goinsdancing@gmail.com.
